The Texas State Championship Will Showcase 80 Registered Drivers

And the Friday Night Practice Sessions are in the books

 

We had around 100 people come out early to take advantage of the Friday night practice session at KAM Kartway in anticipation of the much anticipated season-end event that boasts the top drivers from across the state at 5 different participating tracks that include KAM Kartway, Texoma, Heart of Texas, Tumbleweed and Slaton Speedway.

Gates open at Noon today, Saturday October 28th, with Drivers Meeting scheduled for 5:00pm.  Hot Laps will follow the drivers meeting and racing should start around 7:00pm.  Race registration and draw opens at 1pm and closes at 5pm for racers. 

We have 80 pre-confirmed racers for the event with the individual class breakdown as follows:

6 – Young Guns

11 – Jr 1 Clone

14 – Jr 2 Clone

9 – Jr 3 Clone

10 – Outlaw 125 

11 – Outlaw 250

19 – Open Outlaw

We will take up to 12 in the Feature, so Jr 2 Clone and Open Outlaw will have B-Mains.

This event is sure to be a great show so spectators are encouraged to come out and watch all the excitement.  Pit Passes are $20 with kids 4 and under Free.  The entire facility is considered HOT PIT so everyone must have a pit pass to enter.

The 2nd and 3rd place Championship class finishers will get special mini-cup trophies with the supporting classes, Young Guns and Pro Clones, getting their own special awards.  Outlaw 250 and Open Outlaw are payout classes with sponsors, Splash Haven Pools and Pro Tech, pitching in extra funds for these classes.  KAM Motorsports has also sponsored the Champion drivers with each one getting shop gift certificates.
