As a tribute, and our way of saying thank you, we have named Sun Shield Window Tinting the \”Presenting\” Sponsor for the first annual Texas Challenge as a donation was made recently equal to the sponsor level we were asking. Owner, Vance Urbanosky who is also the Crew Chief and kart owner of the Outlaw 250 #19 piloted by his son, Pierce Ubanosky has been a member of the KAM Fam since 2007. For over 8 years, Vance has been a loyal and generous supporter at KAM Kartway holding the Title Sponsor role for many years, and in stepping down to allow other supporters to become Marketing Partners of the track, his contributions never stopped. He has been an unsung hero for us over the years, with his generosity going unannounced (per request) but so often needed in order to keep the race program rolling under some of our \”Challenging\” times; doing so without a request ever made for his stewardship.

Rex Mobley, as Area Sales Manager of the Fort Worth Division, has secured a great prize for the winning Crew Chief (in the largest class) – a DeWALT Power Drill. What a great idea to reward the Crew Chief of the winning Race Team. We should have thought of this years ago. Leave it to a Crew Chief (MLM Motorsports) to know how to give thanks in a big way to the often, under appreciated member of the team in karting – the fellow Crew Chief. As of right now, the Open Outlaw Class seems to be the shoe-in for the largest class/division (click here for the Driver List).
So Drivers – there\’s more than a checkered flag & cash purse on the line at this event.
